During the International Balloon Festival, hot-air balloons take to the skies from Château-d'Œx. After just a few minutes in the air, you'll be treated to a breathtaking 360-degree view of the valley, the other balloons and the most beautiful peaks.Suspended in the air and in total peace and quiet, you can admire the entire panorama of the Pre-Alps.The flight lasts a minimum of 40 minutes, perhaps even a little longer, depending on the weather conditions. The total duration of the activity will be around three hours.Prices for flights during the festival:Adults: CHF 350.00 / pers. and children: CHF 210.00 / pers. (up to the age of 15)

Meeting Point
Address of the event: Route de Saanen 2, 1660 Château-d'ŒxMeeting point: flight office, in the big white tent, near the entrance to the event.
Conditions
- The flight will only take place when the weather conditions are favourable, to ensure safety. A dedicated telephone number will be given to you one week before the start of the festival. Confirmation or cancellation of your flight will be announced on the answering machine of this number from 6.00 p.m. on the day before your flight. Passengers must inform themselves if their flight is confirmed or cancelled. Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations on the day of the flight are also possible, but only in the event of an unexpected change in weather conditions.
- The minimum flight time is 40 minutes.
- Admission to the festival is included in the price of the flight. Upon presentation of the booking confirmation, you will receive an entry ticket.
- Flights cancelled by the organisers due to bad weather will be refunded to the credit card used at the time of booking. In the event of cancellation by the customer up to 48 hours before the flight time, a 100% refund will be made to the credit card used at the time of booking. Cancellation by the customer within 48 hours of the flight time will not entitle the customer to any refund. However, in agreement with the organiser, a replacement date may be found, subject to availability, during the festival or until 31 March 2024.
- Children must be at least 1.2m tall. Smaller children will not be able to fly!
