Bread oven of Rougemont

Every Wednesday, during the summer vacations, the ladies of the bread oven and Ti-Tell invite you to taste the famous pies of Rougemont! Made by hand and baked on a wood fire, these sweet and savory cakes are the rendezvous of the summer.
Restarted by the village baker for the 900th anniversary of the Commune, Rougemont's 18th-century bread oven is in operation during the school vacations! A team of enthusiasts prepares specialties baked in the oven to order, and sold on Wednesday lunchtimes. On the menu, you'll find bread from the oven, as well as a wide range of sweet and savoury tarts made to order: - Pain du four, black wheat recipe | CHF 4.50.- - Sweet cakes: Apricots, Cream, Peaches, Pears, Apples, Prunes*, Rhubarb* | CHF 13.- - Savoury cakes: Spinach, Cheese, Pizza, Cheese and Quiche | CHF 15.- Order your gourmet cakes by Tuesday, 12pm, from Pays-d'Enhaut RĂ©gion on +41 (0) 26 924 25 25! You can then collect them between 12 and 1pm, directly from the Cure de Rougemont. *Only available in season
