Snowshoeing by night and dinner at the Auberge du Lac Retaud

Description

When night falls, the stars light up Les Diablerets and the snow on the ground sparkles. If you're a fan of culinary delights, we're offering a night-time snowshoe hike between the Col du Pillon and the Auberge du Lac Retaud !

Every Saturday evening, collect your snowshoeing equipment (snowshoes, poles and headlamp) from Jacky Sport in the centre of Les Diablerets village between 5 and 6.30pm. Then, after a short drive in your car to the Col du Pillon car park (about 10 minutes), you can start your hike by headlamp, in the midst of nature's slumbering white coat....

After a 35-minute walk on a moderately steep, well-marked snowshoe trail, you've reached your goal ! The Auberge du Lac Retaud will be waiting to serve you two different types of menu: a ‘Fondue à l'auberge’ menu or a ‘rando’ menu (details below).

The warm and cosy interior of the restaurant is the perfect place to recharge your batteries before the descent!
