Hospices cantonaux

Description

Aymon of Savoy founds the Maison-Dieu by endowing it with property, including part of the vineyards of the "Hospices cantonaux" of Aigle.

This institution, established by decree of the Grand Council in 1810, remains faithful to its original vocation, still allocating its income to the cantonal hospitals. Only the Chasselas grapes are cultivated on 2.8 hectares according to environmentally friendly practices, then matured in oak vats to produce a seductive grand cru, full of finesse, generosity and breed.
