Description

This hiking trail is perfect for the whole family. Starting from the Retaud lake, the path leads you to Isenau and finally to the Marnex mountain pasture and its cheese factory. An ideal walk for gourmet hikers.

Starting at the Retaud lake, you take the footpath to Isenau. There, you follow the path for another 200 meters and then take the footpath in the direction of La Crua to Marnex, passing Metreile. From Marnex you return to Les Diablerets via La Dia and La Comba. This route can also be walked in the reverse direction. In Marnex: - The Alpine dairy is worth a visit - Marnex is a beautiful and popular takeoff place for paragliding. Why not treat yourself to a tandem flight?

PARKING: - Free parking near the centre of Les Diablerets. A FEW TIPS : - Plan your walk (route, length, weather). - Dress appropriately: sturdy footwear (climbing boots preferable), suitable clothing and wet weather gear - Take sufficient food and drinks. - First aid kit - Be attentive to changes in weather - Do not trample on grass or crops - Close all gates behind you - Put out fires, and do not make fires in the event of drought - Take your rubbish with you - If in doubt, turn back early
