Description

A 20 km stage, arranged and secured between Gstaad and Rossinière, allows families to cross picturesque and preserved landscapes.

Accessible from Gstaad station by mountain bike (or on foot), an easy route follows the Sarine river and passes through the villages of Saanen, Rougemont and Château-d'Oex to reach Rossinière in the canton of Vaud. There are several places to picnic or grill along the river, notably near the Ramaclé waterfall and at the Pont Turrian. Make a stop in each village to visit them, eat or even sleep. It is indeed possible to split the route into several stages. The mythical Montreux-Oberland-Bernois train runs daily between the villages of the Pays-d'Enhaut and allows you to put your bicycles and those of your children on the train to reach your car.
