From Les Mazots to Les Diablerets via Vers-l'Eglise

Description

This easy hike starts in Les Mazots, not far from the Col de la Croix. Via a charming hiking trail, you will discover superb landscapes over the Ormont valley before reaching the charming hamlet of Vers-l'Eglise.

From Les Mazots you take the path beneath the hamlet which runs near the cable car until you get to a forest path further down. You continue on this to La Bierla and on to Vers-l'Eglise. Return to Les Diablerets on the Route des CĂ´tes. This route can also be walked in the reverse direction. In Vers-l'Eglise, take the opportunity to visit the museum, which regularly holds exhibitions on the Ormonts valley, or stop at the terrace of the Auberge de l'Ours. The pretty cobbled square with its temple and fountain give this hamlet a certain tranquillity.
