In the early 90s, Krystyna Diethelm discovered her passion for decoupage. Her first works were traditional ones, such as alpine scenes.
Later, she experimented with coloured paper and modern motifs. Krystyna's preference for sport and movement is reflected in unconventional and surprising motifs such as ‘Skimarathon’, ‘Danse libre’ and ‘Tour de Suisse’.
For Jacqueline Schmuckli, decoupage mainly involves alpine scenes, black silhouettes and symmetrical images.
She works mainly with photos taken while hiking in Switzerland or travelling abroad, to provide a basis for her motifs.
Their work will be on show from 3 August until 27 October at the Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut & Centre Suisse du Papier Découpé, in Château-d'Œx.
