Mountain "La Pointe de Cray"

The Point de Cray culminates at an altitude of 2'070m. During the summer season, you can reach it from the small village of Rossinière but also from Château-d'Œx. The recommended itinerary takes you along the Cabane des Choucas way before reaching your summit. However, you can also go through Rossinière to reach it more directly.

After the effort of the hike, the comfort... The 360° view over the Pays-d'Enhaut and Gruyère region is the cherry on the cake. Down the mountain, watch out for the small cars that drive through the streets of the village of Château-d'Œx. To the south, you can see the Vernex lake, a real playground for fishermen, as well as the various peaks of the Vaud Alps, including the Diablerets glacier, which rises to 3,000m. But if you turn to the north, the Gruyère lake is revealed under your eyes.

The summit is the ideal place to taste fresh products from the Pays-d'Enhaut. Take a seat on the fresh grass in front of the sun and enjoy a piece of L'Etivaz AOP cheese! If you are motivated, wait for the sunset ! Promise, you will experience a wonderful moment.
