Alpage Les Coques

Accompanied by their cows, the farmers spend the summer months in this alpine chalet making the precious wheels of L'Etivaz PDO cheese.

During your hike, make a stop at the Coques mountain pasture to stroke the cows around the chalet. If you're an early bird, you might even be able to watch the hot milk being turned into a wheel of alpine cheese!
