The Via Alpina crosses 14 of the most beautiful Alpine passes. Straight through six Swiss cantons with a vast variety of culture, geology and topography. Wide roads end in high ridge trails. The route is lined with one of the world’s most diverse variety of flora and fauna.
Stages 17, 18 and 19 allow you to discover the Pays-d'Enhaut. Your starting point is the village of Gstaad with stage 17. Through medium and high mountain paths, you will reach the small hamlet of l'Etivaz, capital of L'Etivaz PDO cheese.
The next stage of your adventure takes you in the direction of Rossinière through the refreshing Pissot gorge. Your last stage in Damon will take you to the Hongrin valley to return to the heights of Montreux.

You can earn 38 stamps featuring unique motifs over the 20 stages – one for each stage and Alpine pass as well as three special stamps. You’ll find the stamps in the stamp boxes at each stage. Once you have filled your passbook, you’ll receive a certificate.
