Why not take up your fishing rod and while away an afternoon, or even an entire day? The Pays-d’Enhaut contains any number of wonderful spots for fly, float or spin fishing.

Search out a place along the River Sarine or one of its many tributary streams, or climb among the peaks to the edge of one of the mountain lakes: Lioson, L’Horgrin or Vernex. Teeming with both brown and rainbow trout, the fish always take the bait in our delightful waters.

Angling is open throughout the summer months, but don’t forget to acquire your fishing permit — daily or weekly — from the one of the offices of the Pays-d’Enhaut Tourist Board or from the Prefecture in Château-d'Oex.
