Anne Rosat - Cutting art

Anne Rosat has been cutting out since 1969 and immediately used colour and the superimposition of papers, thus deepening the very particular technique of cut-out paper.

From 1970 onwards, she exhibited regularly in Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich, Cortaillod, etc. She took part in exhibitions in New York (1974 and 1985), Paris (1974), Lugano, Venthône, Chur, etc., as well as at the Fondation Gianadda in Martigny (1985 and 1996-97).

She has made a real contribution to the revival of paper-cutting in Switzerland, reviving interest in this traditional art form by making it known beyond the borders. Her cut-outs can be found in numerous collections and museums in Switzerland and abroad.

In 1997, she created a scarf for Hermès in Paris.
