Trail running requires a few simple but crucial steps if you are to enjoy it to the full!

First of all, familiarise yourself with equipment such as suitable footwear, breathable clothing and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Then set off on short, easy routes, choosing well-marked paths suited to your level of fitness. Gradually, you'll be able to take on new challenges and push yourself to your limits, while respecting your body and its needs.

Trail running is much more than just a sporting activity, it's a real adventure that will allow you to reconnect with nature and yourself.

Knowledge of the terrain is essential when starting trail running. Faced with the mountain, you must remain humble and start with routes adapted to your abilities! Then, through training, this unique feeling of accomplishment is born when seeing the landscapes pass before your eyes…

Ready to take on the Strava Trail Challenge

The peaks and summits of the Alpes vaudoises offer an ideal terrain and a magnificent setting for hikers and trail runners. Run on pastoral paths through meadows, alongside forests and along old mule tracks. Raise your eyes to contemplate these superb landscapes, they will reward your efforts.

From 1 July to 30 September, record your time on the Strava platform when you run one of the trail courses. Those who complete one or more of these routes will be entered into a draw to win prizes!
