Domaine Le Luissalet

Description

The Domaine Le Luissalet consists of five hectares on the hill of Chiètres in Bex, in the Chablais AOC appellation. As one of the southernmost wine estates in the canton of Vaud, Le Luissalet nurtures 12 different grape varieties in exceptional conditions.

Initially a dream of Willy Deladoëy, the Luissalet wine estate has become a reality thanks to the hard work of the winemaker and his wife Nathalie. The stony soil made up of crumbly slate brings all its character and nobility to the wines through a subtle and discreet terroir. The excellent exposure of the vineyard allows the cultivation of many grape varieties: Chasselas, Chardonnay, Pinot-Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Pinot-Noir, Diolinoir, Cabernet-Franc and Gamaret ,Galotta. All the wines are vinified either in traditional methods or in barrels. These dry or sweet wines, awarded with numerous national and international distinctions, surprise the taster with their bouquet and finesse. The entire estate has been awarded the Vitiswiss label, which certifies that the estate complies with ecological production standards. The Vigneron-Encaveur is the guardian of the heritage and traditions and the guarantor of the authenticity of the wines you will taste... A member of the Vaud Œnotourisme certified network, Domaine Le Luissalet opens its doors three days a week and offers tastings, as well as vineyard visits on request. Thanks to the estate's chestnut grove, visitors can enjoy delicious chestnuts with their glass of wine, especially during the brisolées organised on site. There are also spaces available for professional and private events. Number of hectares: 5 Specialities : Réserve Noire, Pinot-Gris, Chardonnay, Galotta, Pinot-Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, l'Accroche-Cœur, Réserve Blanche
