Puppet and balloon show at Château de la Roche

From rockets to bumper cars... from the moon to birds... the balloons take the monsters from surprise to surprise... at their peril... What else will they invent?
This creation brings together the colourful kitsch of balloons and the rough and tumble of crocheted monsters covered in natural fabrics.
The result is 17 sketches in which the balloons are in turn sculpted, exploded, deflated, lit up and so on.
The monsters have a lot of fun, playing pranks and scaring each other, but they also express their feelings.
The whole mishmash engages young and old alike in a crazy, offbeat waltz, where laughter and tenderness force the audience to empathise with these strange creatures...
Are they really that far removed from us?
