Overview
Every Friday and Saturday evening from January to March, the Villars Ski School offers to accompany your group on a night-time snowshoe hike to the Refuge de Solalex, with a tasty meal to boot !
As the cold descends on Solalex and the stars twinkle in the thick snow, start your night-time hike at 7pm accompanied by a Villars Ski School guide !
Equipped with your snowshoes and headlamp, you'll set off to discover a valley completely cut off from civilisation in winter. The road is accessible to pedestrians only. After around 1 hour's walk, you'll catch a glimpse of the warm light of the Refuge de Solalex, where you can enjoy one of the best fondues in the region.
On the way back, you have a choice of two options: either return along the same path on snowshoes, or try your hand at tobogganing ! The activity finishes at around 10.30 pm.
