Train R74 Villars, station - Villars, Roche Grises (BVB)
Overview
Travel by train from Villars station to Rochegrises.
From Villars, you can take the train to Rochegrises, not far from the Tennis Sports Centre and the Chalet Royalp Hotel & Spa.
From here, you can continue on to Bretaye, where you can enjoy the ski slopes in winter and the mountain pastures in summer.
Practical information
IN SUMMER
- This line runs every day from 8am to 5.30pm (1 train per half-hour).
- Consult the timetable at www.tpc.ch.
BICYCLE TRANSPORT
- Bicycles (mountain bikes, e-bikes, etc.) can be transported on the train between Gryon and Villars from all stops except Roche Grises.
IN WINTER
- HIGH SEASON: Runs every 15 minutes between 8.05am and 5.30pm from 16 December 2023 to 24 March 2024.
- LOW SEASON: Runs every 30 minutes between 8.05am and 5.30pm from 10 December to 15 December 2023 and from 25 March 2024 to 7 April 2024.
- Evening trains: Fridays and Saturdays from 16 December 2023 to 7 April 2024, departure from Villars at 7.14pm and 10.03pm and departure from Col de Bretaye at 7.36pm and 10.25pm.
- Consult the timetable at www.tpc.ch.
- A ski pass for the ski area is valid on this section during the opening period of the ski area only.
MAGIC PASS
- The Magic Pass is valid all year round on this section depending on when it is open.
