Climbing- Festival et Mérite Alpin

Dozens of advanced multi-pitch routes and single-pitch routes will keep you going until the sun sets! The upper Dar includes the Festival and Mérite Alpin crags. The rock is excellent with multiple holds: big grooves, holes, flakes, "sky hooks", all very favourable for an accessible climb, with a few cracks or overhangs here and there. Access is from the Col du Pillon. From there, follow the Prés Jordan path and before the bridge over the Dar, take the path to the left which leads up to the foot of the cliffs: 45 minutes' walk. The Mérite Alpin is more shaded than Festival and, despite being constantly damp, it's not to be missed due to the quality of the rock, the best the Dar has to offer!
