Parc naturel régional Gruyère - Pays-d'Enhaut
Place du village 6
1660 Château-d'Œx
Helped by the wildlife warden and the biologists, the Park has established a sensibility map. This document combines the protected areas where the sensitive animal species live. A useful tool for the Park and its partners (tourist offices, mountain guides) : it will let to organize some activities to respect the fauna at its best.
Monday 19th August 2013 : 3 tourist offices – La Gruyère Tourism, Pays-d’Enhaut Tourism and Montreux Tourism – and also two mountain guides – Rachel Rumo and Cyrille Cantin – have signed a voluntary engagement chart. By their signature, they indicate their will to preserve what makes our richness of the Park : a beautiful nature where fauna and flora spreads its self, rare for certain animal species.
The Tourist Offices will give to their public some documentation in the form of awareness leaflets for the activities such as hiking or mountain biking. During the creation of activities, the offices will check the chart of awareness with the Park to be sure that the different animal species will be respected. They will inform the staff and will make reference to the informative pages of the Park website. The mountain guides who have signed the chart will do the same.
