The river Dar has its source at the Diablerets glacier. An impressive waterfall of some 90 metres thunders down from under the snow and rock to its riverbed below. It can be spotted already from the road to the Col de Pillon, but it is much more spectacular on foot from closer up.

TRANSPORT
By car: drive to the Col du Pillon. On the pass summit, you continue on foot on the hiking trail in direction of Les Diablerets.
On foot: walk from Les Diablerets to the Dar waterfall along the river "La Grande Eau" to the Col du Pillon, or from the Col du Pillon to Les Diablerets.
By bus: take the postbus to the Col du Pillon and continue on foot on the hiking trail in direction of Les Diablerets.
