Concert: This is (not) Mozart

A particularly innovative concert in the work of conductor, pianist and composer Matthieu Mantanus, This is (not) Mozart, premiered in Italy in 2021: a concerto for synthesizers, live electronics and chamber orchestra, based on themes and motifs from W. A. Mozart's symphony in G minor KV 550. The concerto will be interspersed between movements of Mozart's symphony, which will be performed in a version for ensemble, to give it a dimension comparable to that with which it is familiar.
