The Tavelli House and the Court of Miracles

The oldest house in Belleren, called "Maison Tavelli", built in 1563 according to the date on the staircase, was burnt down in May 1859. It was rebuilt the following year. The ground floor and the first floor were bequeathed to Henri and Marie-Julie Roux in 1877. Since 1950, the Roux family has bought the entire building and has occupied it from generation to generation.
