Pierre Latine Domaine

In 2017, André Hoffmann became the owner of Domaine de la Pierre Latine, which includes the famous Clos du Crosex Grillé. He asked Philippe Gex, a passionate lover of his terroir and owner of the estate until that date, to stay on with him at the helm. Together, they share the same philosophy, combining heritage with the challenges of the future.

The estate's growing methods are based on integrated production (IP) which, for quality reasons, focuses on the health of the berries. The road to organic farming has already been paved, particularly in the fight against the use of fungicides and pesticides. Thanks to the arrival of André Hoffmann, this ethical approach is taking on even greater importance, with technological development and experimentation leading to increasingly precise control of treatments.

André Hoffmann and Philippe Gex are pioneers in Switzerland in the use of drone spraying, which delivers incredible precision while eliminating noise pollution. The aim, of course, is to be genuinely sustainable.
