Marvel at the wonder of ice climbing and feel the thrill: The crampons and the ice axe are only minimally inside the ice yet support your weight – allowing you to climb the wonder world of naturally icy walls.
Concentration and coordination, courage, strength, endurance and great confidence in the equipment. Ice climbing combines all the components of an athletic challenge. All this in the unique setting above Leysin, in the midst of frozen waterfalls and untouched landscapes.
Exchange the hardness of rock for the purity of ice! Under the expert guidance of an experienced mountain guide (obligatory), ice climbing becomes a safe and yet spectacular experience.
On the Tour d'Aï and in the Hongrin gorge, the essential conditions for the ice climbing experience are provided: Both gorges are protected from the sun's rays throughout the winter season. With its varied colours and textures, ice is a living material that will give you rich sensations for your first steps on an ice fall.
