Overview
This crag, lying at 2273 metres, lies south of the Argentine with its famous ‘mirrors’.
The climbing is on a long-south-facing wall approximately 100 metres high.
The six equipped routes offer varying challenges and are graded between 5c+ and 7c.
The Lion d’Argentine is a two hour walk from the Pont de Nant. The face is clearly visible from the Rhone valley. At its left-hand end are two ancient routes which count amongst the first recognised climbing routes in the Vaudois Alps.
