Climbing in Anzeinde - The Essets boulders

These large boulders are to be found close to the path shortly before reaching the Col des Essets.

From Solalex, access is via Anzeinde followed by a further walk in the direction of the Col des Essets. The boulders are on either side of the path. Bolts are fitted, but you will need a rope to climb the six to eight metre long routes.

The walk across the pastures of Anzeinde in the heart of the Vaudois Alps takes about one hour. On your way back, why not drop in to the Giacomini Refuge for refreshments.
