From the start, located at the corner of the Tourist Office building in the centre of Les Mosses, take the path up through the fields. At the first crossroads (road), turn left and follow the road. At the end of the flat, the road bends to the right. Follow it until you reach a second crossroads....
Caution: Please keep dogs on a leash between Lake Lioson and Pic Chaussy, as there is a flock of sheep with sheepdogs.
Option: Possibility to shorten the route by not doing the full ascent of the Pic Chaussy. In this case, at the Col de la Rouge, start the descent directly to the Petits Lacs.
Fromagerie du Lioson d'en Bas: Attend a cheese-making demonstration every morning from 9.30 to 10.30 am from mid-June to the end of September for CHF 5.00/pers.
