Sentier des vignes

A walk through the vineyards of the Chablais vaudois region

Sentier des vignes

At the foot of the Alpes Vaudoises, the Chablais is covered with sunny vineyards and full of natural and cultural riches. Set between Yvorne and St-Maurice, the Sentier des Vignes is a wine tourism route that connects the wine cellars and the main tourist attractions of the region on foot.

The Sentier des Vignes: a multi-faceted route

From Yvorne to St-Maurice, via Aigle, Ollon, Bex and Lavey, the Sentier des Vignes invites you to take an immersive stroll through the heart of the Chablais vineyards over a distance of 30km (estimated walking time: 9 hours).

In order to take the time to taste the regional gastronomy, we advise you to follow this path in several stages so that you can make well-deserved stops while discovering the local terroir.

Accessible all year round, the marked route crosses the most beautiful landscapes of vineyards, dotted with welcoming cellars where the winemakers offer their wines for tasting.

Thanks to a low gradient and alternatives by public transport, the route is accessible to all.

It connects must-see tourist attractions such as the Château d’Aigle and its Vine, Wine and Wine Label Museum, as well as the Bex Salt Mines and the thermal centre of Lavey-les-Bains.

Throughout your walk, thanks to the 19 totems that line this path, learn more about the history of the vine and discover the winegrowers who work the vines to produce exceptional wines.
