11. Himalayan Cedar

This tree arrived in Europe after the Cedar of Lebanon, and is distinguished by its hanging branches. The cones (pips or pine cones) on the branches release their seeds as they remain on the tree, unlike most other trees where the cones fall whole to the ground and only then disintegrate.
