Cave Borloz

Initially made up of 2 small plots, the harvest of which was delivered in grapes, the hard work of my maternal grandparents gradually enabled us to expand and develop our vineyard, which now comprises 9 parcels, as well as our cellar, finally producing our first wines at the dawn of the 1970s: Le Tard and Le Bec d'Aigle.

In 1986, a parcel of vines was acquired in Conthey in the Valais. In 2004, after taking over the business, I decided to plant specialities on our Valais parcel and create the 'Alexandrin Trilogy'. The back label of this new range, "ALEA JACTA EST", is embellished with a text written by myself in the form of an acrostic and written in Alexandrine.
