Description

Starting from the top of the Berneuse, where the famous "Kuklos" revolving restaurant is located, discover this itinerary along the two mythical towers of Aï and Mayen, for a climb to the top of the tower of Famelon.

After a cable car ride up to the Berneuse, discover the mountain lakes of Yaka, Aï, Mayen and Segray along the way. Refresh yourself in the numerous mountain restaurants along the route, such as the village of Aï, the Refuge of Mayen, as well as the restaurant of Les Fers, all offering a varied menu, allowing you to discover the local products and gastronomy. From the Mayen refuge, the climb to the Famelon tower will take you through the magnificent lapiaz, a geological formation created by the erosion of snow melt.

The ascent to the Berneuse can be done on foot by following the itinerary number 6 "Flora and view at Geteillon". Good mountain boots are strongly recommended: The lapiaz can be very slippery if wet.
