Make the most of a meal outdoors and head on down to Aigle Château’s picnic site in the heart of the vineyards. In the shade of this magnificent monument, the view of the surrounding mountains and the local vineyards is simply stunning.

After a visit to Aigle Château the delightful picnic area offers a scenic spot where you can quell your appetite and share a few snacks. Tables and chairs are provided as well as a water fountain to quench your thirst.

This large area with its natural terraces doubles up as a gigantic playground for children who can run around to their heart’s content. Thanks to a new walkway, it’s now also possible to do a circuit of the Château and to go through the gardens and vineyards.

The picnic site enjoys glorious sunshine from early morning. It’s open all year round, free of charge. For a more substantial meal, two nearby restaurants offer some tasty alternatives.
